Nice one, Bushana.
ReplyDeleteI find it a photogenic species.
Thanks Amila!!!
ReplyDeleteI think I have captured it too. Dosen't it have the habit of fluttering around shurbs and other small vegetations rather than perching like most other species of dragonflies ? (This is something I noticed in my garden several times)
ReplyDeletePatali. yes you are correct. I also observed that it is a habit of this dragonfly to fluttering around weedy areas most of the time close to a pond or a stream, usually as a group of several of them. Anyway it also perch on shrubs and this is one of few such a instance when I could capture it while resting on a shrub.
