Ceylon Spider Lilly/වල් ලූනු (Pancratium zeylanicum)

An indigenous herb rather common in lowlands. Often cultivated. Flowering more or less throughout the year. 

හීන් තොලබෝ[Heen Tolabo] (Crinum defixum)

Native tall herb rather common in wet places, river and stream banks, edges of ponds and tanks, etc of the lowlands and in the mid country. Flowering more or less all the year round. Fragrant flowers opening in the evening. Seeds float in the water and plants may be dispersed  by water in such places. 

African Lily/Lily-of-the-Nile (Agapanthus africanus)

An introduced large herb native to Southern Africa. Cultivated in the montane region as an ornamental and for cut-flowers.

තොලබෝ[Tolabo](Crinum asiaticum)

Common indigenous tall herb occurs in the moist lowlands. Common on the sandy seacoast, open areas and in coconut plantations. Also cultivated as an ornamental from low to mid elevations. Flowering throughout the year and strongly fragrant flowers opening in the evening. Bulbs and leaves are used in  traditional medicine. 

Amazon Lily (Urceolina × grandiflora [Syn: Eucharis grandiflora])

Native to Andes of Columbia and Peru. Cultivated in low and mid country home gardens as an ornamental plant. Flowering from March to May.

වල් ලූනු[Wal lunu]/Barbados lily (Hippeastrum puniceum)

Native plant of tropical America. It is cultivated in home gardens as an ornamental plant from lowlands to mid hills. Also occurred as an escaped and naturalized plant in waste lands and roadsides. 

Pink rain lily (Zephyranthes minuta [Syn: Zephyranthes grandiflora])

Herb native to Mexico, Cuba and Jamaica. Introduced as an ornamental plant and naturalized mainly in the hill country.
