මාතුඩු ගස්රැවියා/මහතුඩු හම්බු කුරුල්ලා (Phylloscopus magnirostris)

 පහත රට ප්‍රදේශ වල සිට ඉහල කඳුකරය දක්වා තෙත් සහ වියලි කලාපීය වනාන්තර සහ හොඳින් ගහ කොළ සහිත ගෙවතු වල සුලභව හමුවන සංචාරක පක්ෂියෙකි. තනි තනි පක්ෂීන් වශයෙන් හෝ එකම ප්‍රදේශයක විසිරුණු සමූහයක් ලෙසට වනාන්තර උඩු වියනේ ආහාර සොයමින් හැසිරෙන මෙම පක්ෂියා හිමාලය ප්‍රදේශයේ අභිජනනය කරයි.

Dollarbird /හොට පළල් දුම්බොන්නා/දුම්කාවා (Eurystomus orientalis)

A rare breeding resident found in forests, forest clearings, and adjoining open areas from the lowlands to the lower hills. It lives either solitarily or in pairs and usually perches on the tops of tall trees, from where it flies out to catch insects in flight. The breeding season lasts from February to April. The nest is built in a cavity of a dead tree, often in an abandoned woodpecker hole, which the bird enlarges to suit its needs. A clutch consists of three to four eggs.

Legge's Hawk-Eagle/මහ කොණ්ඩරාජාලියා/හෙල් කොණ්ඩකුස්සා [Maha Kondarajaaliya/Hel Kondakussa] (Nisaetus kelaarti)

A rather rare breeding resident found in forested areas from the foothills to the higher hills. It lives either solitarily or in pairs and feeds on rats, hares, fowls, and lizards. The breeding season lasts from December to March. The nest, a large mass of sticks lined with green leaves, is built high in a tall tree within dense forest. It lays a single egg.

පහත රට තෙත් කලාපයේ සිට කඳුකරයේ මධ්‍යම උස් මට්ටම් දක්වා උස් වනාන්තර සහ වනාන්තර ආශ්‍රිත හොඳින් ගහ කොළ සහිත ගෙවතු සහ වෙනත් එවැනි පරිසර පද්ධති වල ස්ථානීය වශයේන් සුලභ මෙරටට ආවේනික පක්ෂියෙකි. ජෝඩු හෝ කුඩා රංචු වශයෙන් හැසිරෙන මෙම පක්ෂියා ප්‍රධාන වශයෙන් ඉගිලෙන කෘමීන් ගොදුරු කර ගනී. අප්‍රියෙල් සිට මැයි දක්වා කාලයේ උස් ගසක උඩු වියනේ අත්තක් මත කෝප්පයක හැඩැති කූඩුවක් තනා අභිජනනය කරයි.

බඩරතු රාජාලියා/කුසරත් සිළුකුස්සා (Lophotriorchis kienerii)

දිවයින පුරාම පාහේ වනාන්තර සහ හොඳින් ගහ කොළ සහිත ප්‍රදේශ වල දුර්ලභ ලෙසින් හමුවන දේශීය පක්ෂියෙකි. ජෝඩු ලෙසින් හෝ තනි තනි පක්ෂීන් ලෙසින් දිවි ගෙවන මෙම රාජාලියා ප්‍රධාන වශයෙන් වෙනත් පක්ෂීන්, විශේෂයෙන් පරවියන් ගොදුරු කර ගනී. අහසේ ඉහල සිට වේගයෙන් එවන් පක්ෂීන් හඹා ගොස් අල්ලා ගන්නා අතර එයට අමතරව කුඩා ක්ෂිරපායින් සහ උරගයන්ද ආහාරයට ගනී. වසරේ දෙසැම්බර් සිට මාර්තු දක්වා කාලයේ ගසක් මත කෝටු කැබැලි ගොඩ ගසා වටේට ශාක පත්‍ර යොදා තනන කූඩුවක එක් බිත්තරයක් දමා අභිජනනය කරයි.

Plum-headed Parakeet/පණු ගිරවා [Panu Girawa] (Psittacula cyanocephala)

A rather uncommon breeding resident found in forests and well-wooded areas of villages and towns, ranging from the wet lowlands to the mid-hills, as well as the foothills of the dry lowlands. It is usually seen in pairs or small flocks and feeds on fruits, buds, seeds, grains, and the nectar of certain flowers. The breeding season extends from February to May and again from August to September. It lays two to four eggs in a tree cavity—often an adapted Barbet’s or Woodpecker’s hole, or a natural hollow, usually in a dead tree.
