Very common slender climber native to tropical America. Introduced and naturalized in forests and forest margins of all climatic zones up to 2000 m elevations. Flowering and fruiting from June to December.

Passion fruit vine/Banana passion fruit/Sweet cup(Passiflora edulis)

An introduced climber cultivated in gardens and plantations. Also naturalized along forest margins and disturbed places up to about 2200 m elevations. Probably a native plant of Brazil. Flowering from September to April. Fruits edible and used for beverages.

Goat-scented passion-flower/Common passion flower (Passiflora foetida)

Common climbing herb native to the tropical America. Introduced and naturalized in waste places, forest edges etc. of the island. This plant has a very unpleasant smell.
