රත් නෙ‍ටුල්[Rat Netul]/Rosy Flowered Leadwort (Plumbago indica)

An introduced shrub probably native to the Southeast Asia. Cultivated as a medicinal plant since its roots and leaves are used in traditional medicine. Flowering from December to March and rarely from August to December.

Common indigenous straggling shrub occurs in lowlands, especially in the dry areas. Also cultivated as an ornamental plant in wet zone home gardens. Flowering throughout the year with a peak from December to March. Roots use in medicine.

Small shrub native to South Africa. Cultivated in home gardens as an ornamental plant. Flowering throughout the year.
