Clipper (Parthenos Sylvia cyaneus)
Clipper is a locally common butterfly in the wet zone forests from sea level up to about 1200m altitude. It has a very strong distinctive flight and usually flies at mid canopy level. Its only known larval host plant in Sri Lanka is
Zanonia indica.
