Double Branded Crow (Euploea sylvester montana)

An uncommon butterfly though widely distributed in most parts of the island from lowlands to about 1000m a.s.l. It takes part in migrations. Its larval host plants are Gymnema sylvestre (මස් බැද්ද) and Gymnema lactiferum of the family Apocynaceae.
