Common Tern/අළු මුහුදුලිහිණියා/පොදු මුහුදුලිහිණියා [Alu Muhudhulihiniya/Podhu Muhudulihiniya] (Sterna hirundo)

Common winter migrants to offshore waters and coastal areas. Some birds also breed on offshore islands.  It keeps in small to large flocks and feeds entirely of marine life, mostly fish and also crustaceans and molluscs.
