Striped rush leaf/Spreading blue eyed grass (Sisyrinchium micranthum [Syn: Sisyrinchium iridifolium])

An introduced herb native to Tropical America. Escaped and naturalized among grasses along roadsides and open places in the montaze zone.  Flowers open around 10 AM and close late afternoon. Flowering intermittently throughout the year.
