European Bee-eater (Merops apiaster)
Rather uncommon winter migrant locally occurs in the dry zone open areas with scattered tress and bushes. Rare in the wet zone. It usually lives as small to larger flocks. As it is with other Bee-eaters European Bee-eater also feeds mainly on flying insects. It breeds from Mediterranean areas to Central Asia and Kashmir.
