Brown Booby (Sula leucogaster)
Rare but regular migrant to offshore waters and occasionally to the coastal areas of the country. It flies usually low over the ocean as solitary birds or as small groups. Brown Booby feeds on fish by repeated low dives inshore, rests on the sea, swim well and usually roosts at night on rocks, buoys, spars of ships, etc. It lays one or two eggs on the bare ground of oceanic islands but rears one young. Brown Booby also take part in annual North-South migration of Bridle Terns along the west coast of the island.
