ඇල්බැද්ද[Elbedda] (Meliosma simplicifolia pungens)
An indigenous tree common in hill forests from about 1600 m to about 2200 m elevations (Variety
pungens
). Variety
simplicifolia
grows from 300 to 900 m elevations in primary and secondary moist evergreen forests of central and southern provinces.
